I began creating visual art in the mid-90s while getting an M.A. in creativity as a personally and socially transformative process. Like the improvisational piano I'd been playing for many years, my visual images also emerged from the inspiration of the present moment. First painting with acrylics, I later developed a unique look with Prismacolor markers, featuring colored sections bordered in gold. Although I rarely create intentionally recognizable images, people are always seeing things in my designs, which I find both fascinating and fun.
